Apart from ensuring higher self-esteem, it can also keep them focused in the classroom and eager to engage socially among their peers. At Casper Children’s Dental Clinic, we want to make sure their access to preventive care is not hindered by financial constraints. This is why we are pleased to be an in-network Delta Dental dentist. Our commitment to negotiate our fees and terms with your insurer allows us to provide the oral healthcare your child needs to keep their smile growing healthier and stronger year after year. Let us know how we can find ways to maximize your available benefits by calling our office to schedule an appointment.

Delta Dental Coverage Availability & Fees

Choosing an in-network Delta Dental dentist for your child is one of the best decisions you can make. Not only will you save on their regular and restorative dental needs, but you’ll also feel more confident that the quality of their care is not being sacrificed just because it can be delivered at a lower price.

In-network dentists like Dr. Paulson are dedicated to providing exceptional service to young patients and using the best dental technology on the market.

Although each Delta Dental plan is different, many share a similar benefits structure – the 100-80-50 format. This makes it easy to remember how much coverage you can expect to receive for your child’s dental needs and is likely to look something like this:

  • 100% preventive services covered (i.e., dental exams and cleanings)
  • 80% basic services covered (i.e., dental fillings, tooth extractions)
  • 50% major services covered (i.e., stainless steel crowns, tooth replacements)

Since we do provide orthodontic treatment for our patients, you may need to look at your policy to determine if orthodontia is a covered form of care. Many plans do not offer it; however, you can purchase a supplemental plan if necessary.

Before you can expect Delta Dental to begin paying more for your child’s treatment, though, you will need to meet your deductible. This is usually quite low. Once you do, the bill will be partially covered for any of your child’s restorative dental needs. Your insurance company will consider the available amount left as part of your annual maximum when determining how much they will pay.
